Heritage Christian Academy and its partner families aspire to biblically challenge students to honor Christ through academic excellence and exemplary citizenship.

HCA, Inc. is a 501(c)(3), tax exempt organization for both federal and state tax purposes.  Contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law.

TUITION & FEE SCHEDULE (K - 8TH GRADES)

  • Registration Fee: $75.00 Due with student application. (Note 1)
  • Testing Fee: (1st -8th grade) $45.00 Due Feb. (Note 1)
  • Curriculum Fee: K - 8th Grades $250.00 per child Due July 1st
    • Discount $225.00 per child Due June 1st (Note 9)
  • Tuition: K - 8th Grade $3,500yr./$350 mo. Due Aug. 1st (Note 2)
    • Discount if paid in full 5% Discount If paid by July 1st

NOTES

  1. Registration fees are non-refundable except in cases where Heritage Christian Academy, after recei ving enrollment documentation and test results, should decline enrollment.
  2. The annual tuition fee may be paid in ten monthly installments. Each installment is due the 1st of the month. Payment #1 is due August 1st and the first of the month thereafter with final payment on May 1st.
  3. A 5% tuition discount is given to accounts that are paid in advance for the entire school year. If you have questions, please contact school Administration at 828-399-0084 or MikeR@HCAofSylva.org
  4. A sibling discount will be given as follows: For 2nd child - 22%, for 3rd child - 28%, for 4th-33%.
  5. Tuition is due on the first day of each month and is considered delinquent if not paid on or before the 10th of the month. A $10.00 late fee will be assessed to over due accounts.
  6. If an account is more than two months overdue, the student(s) may not attend class.
  7. Report cards and school records will not be released until all accounts are paid in full.
  8. A $10.00 charge is applied to all returned checks and we reserve the right to have payment made in cash or certified check.
  9. Curriculum fees apply to each individual student and include: consumable workbooks, text books and enrichment activities. If the curriculum fee is paid by June 1, a $25.00 discount will be applied. Curriculum fees will not be refunded after Aug. 31 of current school year.
  10. Prepaid tuition is refundable. In cases where a student is enrolled during a partial month, the refunded amount for that month will be prorated.
  11. Pastoral Discount: Christian Pastors/Ministers who currently serves in a full-time, ordained, pastoral position will receive a 1st child discount of 22%. All other discount and fees apply as stated in the Tuition & Fee Schedule. (An official letter from deacon board will be needed to confirm position)
